We are recognised in the industrial sector of the Engineering Construction market as leading providers in the mechanical and electrical services environment. The requirement to embed a safety and quality driven culture in this sector is demonstrated by our involvement with a nuclear client on a continuous basis over the last 14 years and recent successful audit by a major EPC contractor. Our recent work includes significant electrical and instrumentation work on one of the largest LNG import facilities in the world at the Isle of Grain.
The commitment to reduce carbon emissions and the impending end-of-life of many major power stations is driving a resurgence of the large-scale power generation market. Building on the strength of our past activities, including work on Sizewell B, the last nuclear power station constructed in the UK, we are active in this marketplace. We are using dedicated sector focussed teams to engage with a significant number of major players in both gas-fired and nuclear-powered construction opportunities.
Driven by the EU requirement to reduce waste to landfill, we are also working on a number of Energy from Waste Projects, offering a complete mechanical and electrical service in the construction of these smaller scale power generation units.
